This UNIelectronic UAC 5 mobile app allows the remote control of the UNIelectronic 19 1 RU CD Player UD 1001 and URD 1001 via iPhone or iPod touch. It does not enable you to operate devices by other brands. Connection will be established after set up of the app via wifi or another internet connection. The connection is automatically restored in case of a interruption. The app automatically recognizes which device has been attached. Operation of the app is intuitive. The app shows the selected source (CD/SD/USB) as well as the relevant status and the respective mode, such as play, stop, or pause. The volume of the CD player can be controlled remotely. The app also offers direct track selection, tracks from various files can be selected using the folder buttons. With the URD 1001 it is also possible to remotely control the tuner. The preset buttons can be programmed and selected, station frequencies can be entered directly or can be searched using the scan button.
